April 26 Saturday	Tai Sai 108 10:30 - 11:30 AM To commemorate the passing of the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, O'Sensei, we will be doing the 108 Aikido Meditation Practice during regular class times. Join us and renew your connection with O'Sensei and deepen your own practice.
May 26 Monday	Memorial Day Holiday - No Classes
June 7 Saturday	Deck Day at Sensei Teekell's House 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM (or until all the food's eaten) Join us for a fun morning of weapon's training followed by a potluck brunch on Gordon Teekell Sensei's deck. It's a time to remember! We'll meet at his house between 10:00 and 10:30 AM. Here's a Google map with directions from the dojo.
June 7 Saturday	Youth Friendship Training 1:00 - 4:00 PM Lionel Wilson College Prep High School Come train with other teens in a seminar designed for fun, friendship and learning! Meet new training partners. Learn from new Aikido teachers. Food and conversation after the training. Instructors will be Noel Amherd, Patricia Leoni, Matthew Powell and more. June 22 Sunday	Teen Training 1:00 - 3:00 PM Come train with your friends. This rousing training will be led by Noel Amherd and Kathleen Bloom.
July 4 Friday	Fourth of July Holiday - No Classes
July 12-13 Sat - Sun	Kids' Gasshuku (An Overnight in the Dojo) From Saturday 2 PM until Sunday 11 AM Lots of training, lots of friends, lots of fun. The weekend will be led by Noel Amherd and Kathleen Bloom.
Aug 3 Sunday	Teen Training 1:00 - 3:00 PM Come train with your friends. This rousing training will be led by Noel Amherd and Kathleen Bloom.
August 23 Saturday	California Aikido Association (CAA) Division 2 Friendship Training 10 AM - 4:30 PM This semi-annual training for Doran Sensei's Division is held at Aikido West in Redwood City. Each year, Doran Sensei selects two senior instructors from his Division to lead the training.
August 24 Sunday	California Aikido Association (CAA) Spring Training 10 AM - Noon and 1 - 2 PM Training with teachers from each of the three CAA Divisions. Business meeting from 1 PM - 2 PM. Some lunch will be provided for a fee prior to the meeting.
Sept 1 Monday	Labor Day Holiday - No Classes
Sept 30 - Oct 5 Tues - Sun	24th Annual Minnesota Men's Conference at Surgeon Lake, MN Teachers include: Robert Bly, Malidoma Somé, Doug Von Koss, Miguel Rivera, and Tom Gambell. Click here for more information.
Nov 2 Sunday	East Bay Aikido's 20th Anniversary Celebration / Training / Potluck Lunch / Open House Can you believe it? 20 years already! Come join the celebration! Frank Doran Sensei will lead a Training in the morning from 10:30 - 11:30 AM Then we'll have a Potluck Lunch from Noon until all the food's gone. There will also be an Open House until 4 PM to give all those former students who want to drop by and say "Hi" a chance to drop by and say "Hi" without having to do "up and down" in the morning. Spread the word!

Jan 19 Monday	Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday - No Classes
Feb 3 Tuesday	Setsubun 108 6:30 - 7:30 PM There will be bean throwing after a 108 practice. Come help us purify the dojo and at the same time purify ourselves.
